lunch with the girls

I love living in AZ and the chance I have to get together with my girl friends from high school when one comes into town!  Kelly came into town and out to lunch we went!  It was so nice to visit with her and Jenny and see all the cute kiddos that we all have now!  Lunch is a little busier these days, but the girls had a fun time running around outside afterwards.  Here are some of the pics Kelly took for us! Thanks Kelly!

3 month (well, really 4 month) pics

Well, these are supposed to be Brooklyn's 3 months pics, but I got around doing them a little late.  So she was 4 months.  Ooops.  I gotta say she is one little cutie! :)  And I love the one of her and Maylee!

My sleeping beauties!

Ok- is this not so sweet?  Brooklyn and I lay down with Maylee for a few minutes when she takes her nap (which I am so GRATEFUL that she still does!)  It is normally the time for Brooklyn to nap as well so occasionally this is what happens!  It is the best!  I love those few minutes that we all cuddle as the girls drift off to sleep (although I must admit, some days I have to try REAL hard to stay awake myself!)  Ahhh, there is nothing as sweet as a sleeping kiddos!

It's raining, it's pouring... it's HAILING!

A couple of weeks ago, we had the craziest storm!  As I was laying Maylee down for her nap it started raining.  I thought she would like to check it out with me... little did I know what a storm it would be!  We thought the rain was fascinating to watch, but then came the hail, along with thunder and lightning!  It was amazing!  I had to take a picture to prove it!  This definitely doesn't happen too often in good 'ol AZ!

Maylee's first class!

I signed Maylee up for a numbers class with her cousins, Halle and Cailin.  We go once a week and do puzzles, listen to a story, and then do some activities and crafts.  She has become very independent using glue, stickers, and paint now!  It sure has been fun.

Oh- and another highlight of the class... the gazebo across the street.  They could probably spend quite a bit of time playing in there, but we are always rushing off to class and hey- it is still getting up in the 100s around here!

Let's go D-Backs!

A couple of weeks ago we went to a baseball game with Jeff's work and got to be in the box.  Baseball games and box seats are a good combo (even better when you throw in some food and not having to worry about paying a cent!)  Maylee loved it.  She loved chillin' in the seats while watching the game and even seemed to get a general idea of baseball...  the ball goes fast, they hit the ball!

Since she seemed to enjoy it so much, we decided we should go to another game (especially since she received a ticket from the library!)  She loved the fact that she had her own ticket.  This time we were not in the box.  No, we were pretty much as high as you can go up, but we had a great time!
