What a Christmas! We started it off by having the traditional big dinner with our family and some friends on Christmas Eve. When it was just our family we spent a little more time just hanging out, watched the little Nativity movie, and then read the kiddos a few Christmas books. We tried to get them into bed early, but they didn't end up crashing until about 10:30 pm!
Christmas morning came and apparently, Santa made sure to make a stop by Grandpa and Grandma's house! It was so much fun for Maylee to wake up on Christmas morning with her cousins. Her and Halle both got little quads from Santa. That was a sight to see- watching 2 two year olds try to cruise around the house for the first time!
Maylee scored- she also got a scooter, Barbies, games, a train, a dollhouse, a popcorn popper...
Brooklyn also got a lot of fun little toys, perfect for her.
Jeff and I got each other a nice camera!
The kids had a great time going from toy to toy without stopping. Us parents had a great time watching the kids faces light up and play for hours and hours with their new gifts.
I've always loved Christmas, but there is something different about being the parent and seeing your kids so happy and excited. I LOVE IT! It far outweighs receiving presents (but don't get me wrong- I definitely enjoyed my gifts!!! Thanks everyone!)
Checking out what Santa brought and then opening presents!
Maylee got a scooter from mom and dad- just trying it out in the house
The girls had to go for a few rides outside once all the presents were opened. (How cute is this! 3 cute girls on their new quads- or as Maylee says- her Jeep!)
Then a little down time reading a few books with Uncle Rob.
Brooklyn crawling up the stairs and playing with Cailin- way to go Brooklyn! First time up the stairs and you made it look like you had already done it many times before!
Just back out for another ride!
Bustin' a move with Just Dance for Kids on the Wii- these girls sure do have the moves!
In front of my parents' house at the end of the day on Candy Cane Lane- they have the best street for Christmas lights!
It was a wonderful Christmas and we feel so blessed to be able to spend it with such amazing friends and family!

Candy Cane Lane? Really? That would be fun to live on that street! I not only love the quads, but the matching jammies while on the quad! Too cute!
It sounds like such a great Christmas I love all the girls on the Quads, that they are all pink and in matching p.j.'s makes it that much sweeter. I can't believe how big Brooklyn is getting, let's get together for a Zoo play date soon! We miss you guys!
